Introduction to the Cluster Admission System

Khulna Agricultural University (KAU) is a proud member of the Integrated Cluster Admission System. Under this unified framework, KAU, along with seven other premier agricultural universities in Bangladesh, conducts a single, synchronized admission test. This system is designed to reduce the physical and financial burden on applicants, providing a streamlined pathway to a prestigious career in agricultural sciences.

Eligibility Criteria

To maintain high academic standards, applicants must meet the following stringent requirements:

1. Educational Background

• Science Stream: Applicants must have passed SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent from the Science group.

• Core Subjects: Candidates must have earned passing grades in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics at the Higher Secondary level.

2. Minimum Grade Point Average (GPA)

• Individual Requirement: A minimum GPA of 4.00 (on a 5.00 scale) in both SSC and HSC examinations.

• Aggregate Requirement: A combined total GPA of at least 8.50 (calculated including or excluding the 4th subject based on the current year’s cluster circular).

2. The Admission Test: Appear for the MCQ-based unified entrance exam covering Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and English.

3. University Selection: Based on your merit position and the preferences you listed, you will be allocated a seat at KAU.

4. Verification & Enrollment: Once selected for KAU, visit our campus for original document verification and final admission formalities.
